Good day all!
I regret to inform everyone that I am a total slacker. Being laid off made me extremely unmotivated to write much of anything; updating on Facebook was about as good as it got.
However, as I am gainfully employed once more and have no further excuses, I shall persevere!
Normally I do not make New Years resolutions, and to be fair this one is more of a life goal that I had anyway: I had already tried to finish my next manuscript by August. Well, that so didn't happen. So, my new goal is to finish it within the next month and to get it bought up this year. A real, honest to pete publisher. With a real, honest to pete agent too.
So there's my goal.
I'm currently torn once more: I'm furthest along on my new romance novel, but I've been getting interested again in my thriller. And I say thriller because it's very different, but in reality it will probably be labeled as sci-fi. I just realized how very much research is in order, and realistically speaking, finishing the romance is a better bet. Of course the end goal is to finish and sell both, so one step at a time.
So, in anyone's opinion, romance or sci-fi? Which is your pick?

Return
I'm Baaaaack!
It's been a very, very depressing past month. But thankfully, I am officially gainfully employed once more as of tomorrow when I sign all my paperwork. Hooray! And I can't stress that last bit enough.
I've had a huge hit on my psyche due to losing my job, and I had a feeling I'd regain my sanity once I had another boost of employment come my way. I hope to return to writing soon, although my energy will now be put forth in to learning my new job.
I am returning to the movie theater business. No, not to Dickinson, who I was with for a very, very long time. I am now joining the Harkins Theater Group, one of the largest chains in Arizona. The Superstition Springs 25 plex--bigger than the 14 plex I dealt with before, one of the original buildings built back in 97, I believe.
I get to make popcorn and deal with customers again. *waits with baited breath* I will complain, inevitably, but right now I'm am so relieved to be getting back to work. It's been 3 years since I worked a theater; not a horribly long time, but this place is much more professionally run, so I have a lot to live up to.
Wish me luck on this new endeavor, and also to get back to my writing.
FYI, I will continue to sell the items I've listed, though I will probably start posting some on Amazon and eBay.
Have a fabulous day! I rejoin the theater just in time for Harry Potter and the Holiday Season. Oh, crap.

Updated list
Hey, all,
The more I get through, the more stuff I find. I'm updating the list, removing items that are already sold off.
Take a peek and find some good early Christmas gifts, too :) It's never too early to shop! Help me out and cross off some names for your Christmas lists. Trust me, I keep my items in very good condition; items that have been on hand for years and years may show some wear and tear, but overall I treat everything well.
Looking for something specific? Let me know.
Thanks for looking! Enjoy! And yes, I will get back to writing related items one of these days. :)

Side Track
Hello, all!
Fact of the matter is, with me unemployed, and my husband working, we're facing the risk of losing a lot. Like, our apartment. One of our cars. You know--stuff you kind of need. That's the reason for this little foray.
I need to clear out some space in my house, and I have a TON of awesome things that need new homes. Books, autographed photos, autographed posters, movie posters, clothes, DVDs, jewelry, all sorts of neat stuff. I'm in the process of putting a list together of everything, and once I've finally gotten through everything, the finalized version will be up.
In the meantime, I thought I'd share some of the great items I have. (And yes, I have a LOT of books.) See something you like? Wonder if I have something that you don't see yet? Send me an email! (sexyfaery4@gmail.com, margaret.mater@gmail.com). I welcome bartering.

My Glorious Return, plus a Review
I know I've been absent for awhile. Getting canned from Borders is not something I really want to brag about, much less dwell on, yet dwell on it I have. Much brooding and job searching ensued. That was a couple of weeks ago, and my book signing in Glendale was cancelled at the same time. Not a great way to get things going.
But, here I am, still alive. My job hunt continues, but I am feeling more optimistic at this time. I wish I could say I've been using all this down time to do some writing, maybe finish my next book, but let's not stretch reality too much. I have, however, done some reading, and it is with GREAT happiness that I can comment on Ms. Allyson James' upcoming on Novemeber 2nd novel, "Firewalker."
Hello, all.
Ms. James was fabulous enough to give me an ARC of the book, and, as slow as I've been (again, due to depression and slacking), I JUST finished it two seconds ago. Let me tell you, it is fabulous.
For anyone who hasn't picked up Ms. James' books, go do it now. "Stormwalker" is the first of the new series, about a Native American woman named Janet Begay. She is a Stormwalker, which means she gets power from storms, and can do all sorts of cool things like shoot lightning bolts and destroy nasty things like Skinwalkers with her magic. Her mate, Mick, is a dragon, and a super hot one at that (pun intended).
While "Stormwalker" details Janet's origins as well as her fabulous town of Magellan and all their quirky residents, "Firewalker" picks up where the first leaves off. This one delves straight off into trouble Mick has gotten himself into. But it gets even better. Not only are there angry dragons to contend with, but there are all sorts of questions about Janet's other magic from Beneath, a place beneath the earth where her bitch-mother-goddess resides. Nasty, gruesome things begin to happen. Not only does Janet have to worry about saving her lover from angry dragons, but now she has to worry about her Beneath magic and what it's going to do everyone around her if she can't control it.
While there aren't quite as many hot and heavy moments in this one, the action of the story carries it. There's enough heat to make you drool, and enough intensity to keep you flipping pages. There's no question that Janet is one bad-ass chick you'd love to hang out with, and that Mick is one hot guy you want to ask "Got any friends for me?" (Although if you're brave, you could try Colby. You'll see what I mean.)
SO. If you haven't read "Stormwalker," go buy it right now. Yesterday. Then, on November 2nd, go knock on your local bookstore's door until they open, and then go pick up "Firewalker." Allyson James has such a gift for total description without being overbearing, passion and heat, and a way to weave stories together that keep you intrigued.
Just FYI, there is a third in the works, but hopefully more on that later. :) Allyson, you rock, and I can't wait for more.

New Book Signing Event!
Hello again!
I'm super excited to announce that I have another book signing event. After the great event in Las Vegas, I'm happy to be back in the home area and ready to meet loads of new people!
This coming Saturday (yes, it's a little short notice), I will be at the Borders Books and Music in Glendale, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. I'll be there for a nice long time, so come out and keep me company! Get me talking, ask me questions, tell me what you think about me and my many ramblings! I love to meet everyone and hear what you have to say.
So here's the good stuff:
Borders
7320 W. Bell Road
Glendale, AZ 85308
623-487-9110
Questions? Give me a holler, or talk to the incomparable Angel Jimenez who is the sales manager at the store.
Of course I'm excited! Now I have to figure out what to wear...
Come out and chat with me!

The Few, the proud, the listless
Another Monday, come and gone. We had rain today--not just rain, but loud freaking thunder and wind and lightning... It was like being back in Kansas! Kind of awesome, and very enjoyable.
Having days like this are always comforting. I like the sun. I have to; I live in the desert. But I grew up with storms and rain and the unpredictable weather; I rather miss that. Poor Flagstaff seems to get the brunt of it all around here. They get sidles with flash floods, and mudslides, and all sorts of crap.
Things are a little slow on the writing front. I have, however, had the conundrum of working on three different projects at the same time. I literally have all three books open and go from one to the next depending on what wanders into my head. Not the smartest way to write. I think this means I need to seriously edit my iTunes playlist.
I used to have a very strict ritual: I would come home, get all the other stuff out of the way, and once my son was in bed I would get a drink, light a stick of jasmine incense, then sit down. I opened my playlist, threw on headphones, and wrote for the entire evening before I had to go to bed. That is how I finished "What Might Have Been." And it worked; only took me about a week... plus editing and rewrites.
What sort of things get you going? Do you listen to music when you write, or do you have to have quiet?
I shall have other fun things to talk about later. In the meantime, have a lovely night!

Vegas is always a good idea
Ahhh... Finally, a little relaxation. It's funny how you have to relax after a vacation... you spend so much time trying to fit in tons of stuff, you forget to relax.
Can't complain. A HUGE shout-out goes to the crew of Borders Rainbow in Las Vegas! It was a great event. Thanks to Shandy the GM, Crystal for setting it up, and Olivia for setting my stuff up.
We sold all the books the store ordered in. How freaking cool is that!
And a ginormous shout-out goes to my sister Mary: she took reserves online and pimped me out to all her friends. So between those orders and in-store purchase, all the books went bye-bye. I am ridiculously pleased about that.
I always love meeting new people, and Las Vegas is no exception. I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't as busy as I'd hoped, but it did the job. Obviously, right? So my little warm bubble continues to carry me along.
Besides, I got to hang out with my family all weekend. Double bonus!
Every time I go there, I always feel reluctant to leave. There are so many fun and exciting things to do, my family's there, and it's beautiful. Well, who knows what's going to happen, right?
Anyway. It's kind of nice to be back home; now to prepare for another week! Thank you, Las Vegas, thank you very much.

Monday, Monday
Here we go again: a whole other week in the making.
Good? Bad? I don't know. Monday has such bad press, and I wonder why Sunday doesn't. Sunday should have equally bad press as it is the opening act for Monday. In fact, it should have more, as it lulls us into a false sense of security and relaxation only to wax away too soon to reveal the horror! of Monday and all the madness contained therein.
Bad Sunday. You make us believe you are a restful day, when in fact you are diabolically plotting our heinous return to the workforce.
Unless you don't work Mondays, or you have a schedule other than the traditional Monday through Friday.
*grins*
ANYWAY. My son is ridiculously excited about going back to Las Vegas to see his cousins. For the past week, he's been asking to go see them. Gah! Let Friday come already, and then we can be on our way!
I'm anxious and excited about signing in Las Vegas. And I feel, more so than ever, so very grateful for Borders for letting me hop around and do these signings. I know that it wouldn't be quite so easy if I didn't work for them; then again, maybe it would. Point being, I have some great memories already from the people I've met and the stores I've visited. I LOVE meeting the young writers, the older crowd who think they've missed their chance then think they'll give it a shot because I'm doing what I love. It's very heart-warming.
Well, off to rinse off the hair dye and get ready for the day.
Have a fabulous day, all!

Changing of the seasons, and other ramblings
I'm ridiculously excited about the coming fall. Not that it's terribly dramatic here, other than the fact that we finally wind up leaving the scorching 100+ temperatures behind. It's more that we wind up with cool mornings in the 50s and 60s, and then the rest of the day is gorgeous.
I suppose that just leads me into the right frame of mind to keep writing. When I don't have to worry about being overheated, or about the electric bill because the a/c is running 24 hours a day, then I can sit down, relax with a good warm drink, and let the ideas flow. Not to mention go hiking in the mountains, where creativity is just waiting to happen!
Where do you guys like to go for inspiration?
I remember when I was younger, and my grandmother would take me and my sister on vacations almost every year. One year we went to Colorado, and I want to say it was at or near the Garden of the Gods. There was a Camel Mountain, and I was an artist back then. I brought my sketchpad and charcoals and colored chalks, and sat and drew. While the others explored, I drew. And then I had a gentleman come over to admire my work and offered to buy it. Excited beyond reason, I offered the bargain price of a mere $25. (I was probably 12 years old, maybe 14, so it was a-freaking-mazing.)
Sadly, the gentleman never reappeared, and I never sold that drawing. However, it now hangs in my hallway as a reminder that great things can happen at unexpected moments, not to mention that inspiration is everywhere.
I promise, there was a point to my nostalgic story.
So my words of wisdom for the day are: look for the inspiration around you. Whether it's glaring at you in a movie that inspires you to take an idea down a road less traveled, or you happen to be out for a walk and find something moving in the air. Take it, and run with it. Keep a notepad with you and jot down your ideas. Or a voice recorder--how outdated, I know! I always keep some sort of notepad with me so I am able to take notes if I need.
A week and a half until Las Vegas! My sister is completely going crazy and promoting me to her friends out there, and so is my brother in law. Love you guys! Can't wait to make a splash!

We have a winner...
Well, the contest didn't exactly turn out the way I'd hoped. In fact, I don't think a single person actually completely followed the rules. No comments posted here at all.
In fact, the only method I have to judge a winner is the couple of emails I received.
However, I will totally make good on my word, and will randomly select a winner.
So, the lucky person is...
Nicole Baumgartner!
Nicole, I've got your email, so I'll send you a note and you can give me your shipping address, and the book is yours!
Well, maybe next time things will go a little easier. It was my first. Was it good for you?
Live long and prosper.

It's funny the sort of things that get you going in writing. For instance, I hated Kings of Leon. HATED them. And their stupid songs. I heard the chords on the radio, I flipped the dial.
And then...
One day "Sex on Fire" came on the radio, and it was the inspiration for one of the scenes in my new novel. I tried to write the scene without it, and couldn't do it.
So... now I *gulp* kind of like Kings of Leon. Because one day, one of their songs got me writing again.
Same thing has sort of happened again. I like Katy Perry, I think she's got some good songs. But I haven't been a fan of her new one, "California Gurls."
That's right! Until I was writing a scene and I heard "California Gurls" and it became the perfect song for the scene. *sigh*
This makes me wonder, what else am I going to get into that I didn't think possible? Of course, I appreciate ANYTHING that helps get me through certain sticky points when I'm writing. The truly good news is that I'm 3/4 of the way done with the new one. That makes me happy. I hate the idea that I will pick it to death.
So I have two good things to share with everyone:
1) I'm looking for a beta volunteer to help me go through the new novel and get things sorted. Help me with grammar, plot continuation, characters. My end goal is to make this baby ready to be sent off to agents. So, if anyone is interested, please email me.
2) I am also going to hold my very first ever give away! *holds up applause sign* I'm winding down things for "What Might Have Been," though I will continue to promote the crap out of it for as long as I can. So in honor of this, and of my impending journey to Las Vegas, I am going to be giving away a copy of my book!
How do you win, you may ask? It is ever so simple: Simply share the link with your friends through Facebook, Twitter, or Myspace and leave a link for me HERE, along with a comment and your email address, and you will be entered!
One random winner will be chosen on Friday September 10th. I will notify the winner and get your book to you!
And to repost:
My next book signing for "What Might Have Been" will be
Saturday September 25th, 2:00 p.m. Borders Rainbow in Las Vegas!
2190 N. Rainbow Boulevard
Las Vegas, Nevada 89108
call 702-638-7866 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 702-638-7866 end_of_the_skype_highlighting for details
Good luck to all, I hope you all with enter and have a great time with this. I can't wait to give out a copy!

And on the other side of the galaxy...
I'm ridiculously hyped because Phoenix Comicon is asking for suggestions for guests for next year's con. Not exactly on the topic of writing, but we'll get there. I had SO much fun at my first con out here, although I know that a babysitter is a must at some point. Friday night and Saturday night are ridiculously crammed full of activities. And there is always just enough entertainment in watching those around you.
The family and myself are pondering dressing up for next year's gala. *ponders* Will it happen? If it does, who should we be? Questions to be answered later, I suppose.
On another note, I'm currently reading Jennifer Ashley's "The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie." It's intriguing on a lot of levels. For one thing, her writing style is incredible. It flows so well. I look at her writing style, and weep for my own. How can I possibly compete against such fabulous writers?
'It's not a contest!'
Ah, but it is. A sales contest. A contest to be read and make sales and acquire publicity and devotion.
Seriously. I love her writing style, and it makes me question my own. However, and I bear this in mind, I'm comparing one of her historical romances to my contemporary. Obviously it's a different set of linguistics, style structure, and product. Still, it's a fabulous thing. I rarely get intrigued just by a writer's style. Usually, I'm intrigued by the plot and it reads well enough that it flies by naturally. Then there are moments like now, when I am intrigued by the story but also by the structure.
Do you ever have any books that stop you in your tracks? Ever stopped reading one day to realize, 'wow, this is incredible writing'?
Later!

Breathe
That's what I keep telling myself. Sometimes the days are going so well and then one moment makes it all break apart. Nothing drastic, but enough to get you from a reasonable mood to unbearably ticked off. It makes it that much harder to get back into a healthier space, not to mention a better creative space. It makes me sad to know there are just some people out there who do not have the same comprehension of basic principles--like responsibility, civility, and dedication.
But, I suppose that's nothing new.
On that note, I am pleased to say I am taking a mini-break. We are heading to the bright lights of Las Vegas tomorrow to go visit my lovely sister and her family. I hope to come back refreshed and ready to start again. Of course, 36 hours (roughly) isn't exactly the equivalent of a two week excursion to the Bahamas, but I'll take it.
On a happy note, I've been writing again. There's still a lot of road left to travel, but I'm working on it. I had a scene hit me at work today, which I penned on my lunch break.
Eventually, I will finish this book. And then... the real hard work begins.
So to help keep me going, and to give you guys something to enjoy, I shall give one for the guys, and one for the gals. And what the heck, I found an extra one. I'm loving me some Duchovny, leave me alone. If you don't know the other guy, then for crying out loud, go and rent some Joss Whedon shows. I love the subtle Eliza as well; the over-made up Faith was always a bit too much.
Enjoy, as I tear tracks for Vegas!
Best,
Maggie

Reading and Writing and Inspiration
G'day, all!
I'm in the middle of a breakdown. I'm trying to work on my new novel, but the inspiration is just gone. And it's difficult, especially since I want to get the first draft done by the end of the month. I find it completely difficult to get going, to get sorted through the story. And this, I note, is a problem I have ALL the TIME. I start writing, am excited, and then one day... POP! A switch gets thrown, and I can't get through it.
Sigh.
SO. As I struggle to get back on track, (and having just finished re-reading the entire Harry Potter series), I'm trying to remember all the great things that inspire me. Music, eye candy, plot devices... Does listening to music enough eventually throw you out of the writing mood altogether, or does it continuously help?
I don't know. I think I'm just a slacker sometimes.
Well, in the meantime, here's some eye candy.

Tucson leads to Tombstone
'Ello, all!
So it's a little late, but it's been a long weekend. On Saturday I was in Tucson at Borders on Broadway. Heck of a place, and busy as all get out! Part of a mall, so that explains it. Of course my hubby and son came along.
I had a little corner table, and managed to talk to quite a few nice people. It's great. Every time I go out, I meet so many people who tell me they are writing, or have tried to write, and never had the persistence to go through with it, or, as one lady told me, "I want to be where you are." It was nice, because I've felt that way for so long. And as I laughingly told her, I want to be where someone like Nora Roberts or Jennifer Ashley is at--loads of books out there and lots of opportunity, no matter how much work it is!
Another great thing I've experienced is that people are actually very impressed when you mention it's your first book. There's a look of disbelief, and they are automatically more disposed to listen to what you have to say. Sometimes they decide to pick up the book, sometimes it's just to hear how you got started, and sometimes they walk away. But there's so much positivity out there, and it's great. Doing these book signings has been a great experience for me, and I'm constantly learning. I know I can't be the shy wallflower; I have to approach and advertise my book. It is an effort.
Now that I've finished for now--and much thanks to Colleen, the GM, and Ramona, the sales manager whom I've been in contact with for over a month--thanks guys!--now it's on to working on the next book. I want to finish it up and get it out there so hopefully I can get a real agent and real contract. We shall see.
Hope springs eternal, right?
In the meantime, thanks so much to all the Borders I've visited, all the GMs and sales managers and wonderful people I've visited. Much love and luck to all the other aspiring authors.
Till later!

Paradise Valley
'Ello, all!
Had a great time at Paradise Valley, home of my former boss Kris Leathers, who is keeping her new store in great shape. Thanks of course to Tony who set me up something awesome. I had a great table, at the front of the store, and was kind of the official greeter, which worked out great.
Amusing: he told me if I kept doing such a great job greeting, they'd have to put me on payroll. *smiles* Silly; I AM on payroll--just down in Mesa!
I had a blast talking to people there. I also have two possible mentions to come speak at book clubs. That would be amazing! So, we'll see what happens. There are so many young people who are starting writing: I met two great teens who are hyping mythology and vampires. Best of luck to you, Alyssa and Robin!
Thank you PV for having me out there, and thanks, Kris! I'm sure I'll come out soon.
My last signing is going to be next weekend, July 31st, in Tucson at the Broadway Borders.
Have a great one, and blessed be, all!

Good times
The signing at Mesa was yesterday, and while it was actually fairly slow that day, I still got to talk to a lot of interesting people. It amazes me how many people are actually always talking about writing. So many women I spoke with said that they had a book started but never found the time, or converted to short stories, or want to write a book, and they asked me how I got started. Well, since I started with a self-published title and I work for Borders which has earned me the round trip signings, I suppose it's been a smidgen easier for me. I'm not raking in sales yet, but I'm making them here or there.
Everyone wishes me congratulations and good luck, which is well appreciated. I remind myself that it's about networking: get my name out there, connect with people. And that's what I did yesterday. It was nice. I actually love meeting people that way; it's a much different experience than meeting people while I sell coffee. When I'm at the table, I'm free to walk, to embrace any topic that comes out, and to use the time to find out more about the people.
SO! On that note, I have two more signings to announce:
Saturday, July 24th, 2010
2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Borders Books and Music
4555 E. Cactus
Phoenix, AZ
Saturday, July 31st, 2010
2:00-4:00 p.m.
Borders Books and Music
5870 E. Broadway Blvd #448
Tucson, AZ
Noticing a pattern yet?
Well, Borders has been great to me. Thank you to Josh Canham, Cynthia Coughlin and Robin C at Borders, Mesa, for yesterday!
I hope to see more lovely people soon.

One Good Signing Deserves Another
Hello, all! Got back from my Tucson signing, and it was wonderful. The Borders crew was wonderful, very helpful and friendly, and they had a LOT of my books stocked up. It was really cool to see all of those in one place. And I had a great little area to myself, which was fun. I brought in my own sign, and had fun.
Got to talk to a lot of great, interesting people, including a young lady who is starting to write young adult fiction. Exciting! So if a new author named Kaci hits the young adult market, we'll be watching. Wound up selling 4 books, which was awesome. I handed out a lot of my cards and postcards.
So thank you Borders for a great event! Thank you Laureen Stadle for setting it up, to Steve and James and all the wonderful staff who took care of me while I was there. Much love!
My wonderful husband Chris was along, watching the boy. Both of them are SO supportive.
Next up:
Next Saturday, July 10th, I will be signing at the Borders Books and Music in Mesa!
2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Borders
1361 S. Alma School Road
Mesa, AZ
I'll be looking forward to seeing more great people on my new home turf :)
Also:
I am tentatively schedule for Paradise Valley Borders store on July 24th at 2:00 p.m. More info once that is confirmed.
In the meantime, take care of each other and our planet. Mother Nature holds our lives in her hands.
Love to all,
Maggie

The amazing Devyn Quinn has a wonderful new book coming out
~Coming August 3, 2010!~
Siren’s Call
Between desire and love there are some things that can’t stay buried, even in the deep of the ocean.
As a woman with a secret, lighthouse keeper Tessa Lonike savors her solitude on the island of Little Mer, off the coast of Maine. During a violent storm, Tessa spots a man thrashing in the ice cold waters and dives in to save him, using her ability as a mermaid to easily pull him to shore.
When Kenneth Randall awakens on the beach he is alone, left with the haunting memory of his beautiful, flame-haired savior. But a year later, when Kenneth meets her again, he’s determined not to let Tessa slip away. Just as the desire between them begins to burn, Tessa’s archaeologist ex-lover comes back to town with a tantalizing clue to her murky heritage.
The trio travel to the Mediterranean in search of answers, and when Tessa inadvertently opens an underwater portal they find a lost mermaid city. But in the deep, not everything is as it seems, and Tessa must decide if she wants to take her place as the royal heir, or follow the call of her heart…
Go to www.devynquinn.com to check out more of her amazing works :) I am totally buying this when it comes out.

Wonderful event
Thanks to everyone at Borders store #538 who made my signing so great!
It was a lovely time. I actually started out with 4 books from the original 8 that were ordered, and I sold through all of them. The first couple of folks who came up weren't able to stay long, but they were interested enough, and that was awesome. I wound up reading a bit from the book for my army of 3 and a couple of other folks who wandered over.
My army of 3 was my husband Chris, my son Cirdan, and my friend Stephanie, who bravely stayed the whole 2 hours I sat and tried to flag people down.
It was embarrassing as hell to read aloud, especially with Don videotaping me doing so, but it wasn't so bad. I think I got a few more people interested in the book, and that's what I aimed to do.
So thanks to Stephanie Garlick for sitting with me; my wonderful husband Chris for picture taking, watching our son, making beautiful postcards, and supporting me; to Debbie White for designing such a great poster and putting it together; Alison Meltcher for setting up and taking care of me; Kelcey Woolstenhulme for having me.
I hope this will be the first of many events.
Love to all!

I do exist... on a number of levels
Good day, all, and I hope everyone's had a wonderful year so far. We've had a lot of rain in Arizona, which is quite lovely, although I am still surprised by the very cold 40 degree morning temperatures. I'm almost ready for summer... almost. And I will regret that, I know.
New update: I now have an amazon.com author page! Check out the link here:
http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B003BML8T6
You can start discussions, comments, all kinds of nifty things. I can also post updates there, let you all know of events, etc. So if my career actually starts, then I can do some really cool things on there!
At the moment, "What Might Have Been" has gotten some lovely reviews. Thank you to you have done so! I am working on a packet for Barnes and Noble, and with any luck will get that mailed off soon. From there, it's up to them to decide whether or not to carry the book. *Crosses fingers* Hope for the best.
Got any stupendous promotional ideas for me that I can borrow? Let me know :)
All the best,
Maggie
